Cloud Hopper's one of those deceptively simple puzzle games where you're moving platforms and redirecting air currents to get a little character from one side of a floating island to the other. It starts off easy enough, lulling you into a false sense of security, but the later levels really make you stop and think about cause and effect. The whole thing has this lovely, soft art style with pastel clouds and gentle music, which is nice because you'll probably be staring at the same screen for a while when you get stuck.
You're basically the stage manager for this tiny adventurer's journey. Your job is to slide cloud platforms into place, rotate wind fans to blow them in the right direction, and sometimes even remove obstacles, all before hitting a 'go' button to set the automated walk in motion. The real hook is that you can't directly control the character—you just set up the path and then watch, often with a grimace, as your carefully laid plan either works perfectly or sends them tumbling into the abyss, forcing you to tweak your setup again.
