Earth Defender

Earth Defender's one of those casual tower defense games that's easy to pick up but surprisingly tricky to master. It's got that classic, almost cozy feel with its cartoony alien invaders and simple, colorful maps, so you can just zone out and play without needing a huge strategy guide open next to you. The pace is pretty chill at first, letting you get the hang of placing your laser turrets and missile batteries, but don't get too comfortable—those waves of little green guys start coming faster and in weirder patterns before you know it.

Basically, you're the last line of defense for our planet. You spend your credits to build and upgrade different defense towers along the winding paths the aliens use, trying to blast them all before they reach your base. It's all about figuring out the best combo of towers for each level and managing your cash between rounds, deciding whether to splurge on a powerful new cannon or just upgrade the ones you've already got. There's a real satisfaction in watching a perfect line of towers absolutely melt a huge wave that looked unstoppable a second ago.
