Gem Drop's one of those classic falling-block puzzle games that'll have you hooked in minutes, but it's got a nice little twist with the gem-matching mechanic. It's the kind of game you can pick up for a quick five-minute session or lose an hour to without even noticing, with that perfect balance of simple rules and increasingly tricky decisions as the pace picks up.

You're basically clearing gems by rotating and dropping different shaped clusters from the top of the screen, trying to line up three or more of the same color. The real trick is planning your drops to set up big chain reactions, because clearing one set often makes others fall into new matches. It gets seriously frantic trying to manage the rising pile while you scout for the next perfect spot to slot your pieces.
