It's a color-matching puzzle where you click pairs of same-colored squares to clear them. You've got a limited number of moves to finish each board, which honestly makes you think ahead. The 3D look is actually pretty nice for a game like this.

So you're basically trying to clear the whole grid before you run out of clicks. Some levels have tricky layouts that block your matches, though. It gets your brain working without being too stressful.
