Battle for Kingdom is one of those top-down shooter games where you're constantly on the move, blasting through waves of enemies that just keep coming. It's got that classic arcade feel, but with some modern tower defense elements mixed in, so you're not just running and gunning mindlessly. You really have to think about your positioning and upgrades, which adds a nice layer of strategy to all the chaos.
In it, you're basically the last line of defense for your castle. You control a lone hero, running around the map to mow down hordes of goblins, orcs, and other fantasy creatures with a variety of weapons and magic spells. Between rounds, you spend your hard-earned gold to repair walls, build new turrets, or upgrade your own firepower, trying to survive just one more night against an increasingly nasty onslaught. It's a pretty addictive loop of frantic action followed by tense preparation.
