You're basically playing a card game where the battlefield folds in half every few turns. That's the whole gimmick — your units on one side get mirrored or destroyed when the map changes shape. It sounds kind of weird, but it makes you think ahead differently.

You place your cards, wait for the fold, and then try to salvage whatever's left. The timing is everything, because a good position can become terrible after one flip. Honestly, I lost a few matches before I stopped treating it like a normal strategy game.
