It's basically a memory game - but you're fighting enemies with the cards. Flip a pair to attack, and they hit you back with their own moves. The card effects actually matter, which is pretty cool. It's not just remembering where stuff is.

Different enemies have totally different patterns, so you can't just brute force it. Some cards heal you, some do extra damage. I lost a couple times before I figured out when to go for certain matches. The battles get pretty tense near the end, though.
