Void Devourer is this intense, top-down space shooter where you're piloting a lone, heavily-armed frigate against a seemingly endless cosmic horror. It's got that classic arcade feel with modern, slick visuals, where you're constantly weaving through swarms of alien fighters and dodging these massive, screen-filling beams from leviathan-class monsters. The vibe is pure desperation against a cold, uncaring void.

You basically just try to survive each wave, blasting everything that moves while managing your ship's energy between weapons, shields, and a short-range teleport for those oh-crap moments. The real hook is the "devour" mechanic—when you defeat the bigger enemies, you can salvage their wreckage to permanently graft their weapons or armor onto your own ship, which means your build gets weirder and more powerful the longer you last. It's a brutal but satisfying loop of barely scraping through a fight, getting a cool new gun, and then immediately getting thrown into something even worse.
