Ball Sort 2D is one of those deceptively simple puzzle games that hooks you with its clean look and then completely takes over your brain. It's a sorting game at its core, where you're presented with several tubes, each filled with a jumble of colored balls, and your goal is to get all the same-colored balls into their own dedicated columns. The catch is you can only move a ball if it's on top of its stack and you can only place it into an empty tube or on top of another ball of the same color.
You basically just tap a tube to pick up the top ball and then tap another tube to drop it, trying to create orderly stacks. It starts off easy, lulling you into a false sense of security, but the levels get progressively more devious as they add more colors and more complex starting arrangements. You'll find yourself planning several moves ahead, getting stuck, undoing your moves, and having those satisfying "aha!" moments when a path clears up. It's the perfect kind of game to kill a few minutes that somehow turns into an hour.
