LongDog is one of those deceptively simple puzzle games that hooks you with a cute premise and then quietly melts your brain. It's a spatial logic game at its core, where you're presented with a grid and a stretchy, multi-segment dog that needs to be arranged to fit perfectly. Think of it like a more charming and wiggly version of those classic pipe-connection puzzles, but with a lot more tail-wagging implied.
You start each level with the dog's head and tail placed, and it's your job to drag and connect all the middle segments—its long, long body—to create a continuous path between them without crossing itself or leaving any empty squares in the designated area. It starts off easy, lulling you into a false sense of security, but the grids get more complex and the dog gets absurdly longer, forcing you to really plan those twists and turns. There's a fantastic "aha!" moment when you finally see the shape and everything snaps satisfyingly into place.
