Gameplay
Move toward your opponent to land punches, then defend when an incoming attack makes trading blows risky. Directional inputs affect the height of your punches, so choosing where to strike forms part of each exchange. Keeping the right distance is another concern: a punch needs room to connect, but moving close enough also exposes you to retaliation. The main objective is to beat the opposing boxer and continue through the competition. Commentary appears along the bottom of the screen during fights. Alongside the ring action, the game includes a separate mode with side-scrolling street combat and shops where equipment can be bought. That changes the surroundings and progression while keeping physical combat central. The two styles give this boxing title a broader structure than a sequence of matches alone.
Good to know
The Japan label identifies the Japanese release, with Japanese text and menus. Despite the title’s wording, the main sport here is boxing, and menu comprehension helps distinguish its different play options.
