Gameplay

Choose between ships with different weapon patterns, then move around the scrolling playfield while firing at incoming enemies. One craft favors a more concentrated forward attack, while the other provides wider coverage. Collecting power-ups strengthens your equipment and adds support fire, changing how much of the screen you can cover. Stars build the burning meter used for powerful special attacks. Taking a hit can reduce your weapon strength, so keeping upgrades is part of surviving the later action. Enemy shots and moving formations create competing demands: lining up a target can put you in a dangerous path, while dodging too far away can leave an opponent alive. Bosses bring the scrolling advance to a focused encounter that must be cleared to continue. The game also supports simultaneous cooperative play in its original release.

Good to know

The Japan label identifies the Japanese release, with Japanese text and menus. The main shooting action relies heavily on visual patterns, while the two craft provide different firing styles within the same stages.
