Gameplay
Guide your chosen hero across platforms and through connected areas, using weapons or magic to defeat enemies in real time. Victories award experience and gold, linking each fight to future character growth and purchases. Shops sell useful equipment and supplies, while conversations provide information about the world and the route ahead. Choosing a new character changes attack range and available abilities, giving the same journey a different combat rhythm. A fighter’s direct approach differs from managing a magic user’s spells or keeping distance with ranged attacks. Boss encounters require you to make use of both positioning and the improvements gained along the way. The home version drops the arcade game’s overall countdown, so progress depends on surviving the adventure rather than constantly extending a timer. Platform movement remains important even as your equipment becomes stronger.
