Work within striking distance, land punches, and block incoming blows while watching your boxer’s condition. Repeated attacks consume resources, so staying active without leaving yourself exhausted is part of the challenge. When a boxer’s strength is depleted, a knockdown follows, and getting back up requires rapid button input. Further knockdowns make recovery more difficult. Bouts are divided into rounds, with a corner interval providing statistics and information about the damage sustained. Between rounds, you can direct recovery or improve the power of selected punches, connecting your immediate condition to the next exchange. Career play extends the challenge beyond one exhibition by making continued success the larger objective. Judges’ scores also matter when a fight goes the distance, so a win can depend on consistent work across rounds rather than a single dramatic knockout.
