Gameplay
Move around the platforms, line up your tongue with a creature, and hold it until you can spit it into a hungry plant. Catching something is only part of the solution: you also need a route to a useful firing position. Leon cannot jump, so vertical movement relies on using his tail to grab suitable platforms above him. Some sections of the layout can slide, changing where you can climb and which passages connect. That makes the room itself part of the puzzle, rather than just a backdrop for catching enemies. The stages are not timed, leaving room to study how platforms, creatures, and plants relate to one another. A successful route brings every required creature to a plant and leaves Leon able to reach the exit. Each room asks you to combine movement planning with accurate tongue and tail use.
Good to know
The Japan label identifies the Japanese release, with Japanese text and menus. Its platform layout may resemble a jumping game, but Leon’s tail-based climbing is central to solving the stages.
