Gameplay
The game offers a selection of dungeons with different difficulty levels. Within each one, you search for the key that opens the boss’s room, then defeat that boss to finish the scenario. Monsters provide experience and money, connecting exploration with the ability to handle tougher encounters. Shops sell equipment, while inns provide a place to recover before heading back into the corridors. Because the passages are viewed from inside the maze, keeping track of turns and recognizable junctions is part of the challenge. In two-player mode, the split screen allows partners to explore different routes and share useful information about what they find. The larger goal involves completing the earlier scenarios and collecting their passwords to reach the final dungeon. Each outing therefore contributes both immediate character growth and progress toward the game’s last challenge.

This Japan version uses Japanese text and menus. Recording completed-scenario passwords helps track progress toward the final dungeon.
