Gameplay

The landscape scrolls beneath you while enemies approach from different directions. Forward shots and ground bombs serve different purposes, so clearing the air does not necessarily stop enemies on the surface from firing. Bombing eggs on the ground can release useful power-ups, including items that improve the dragon’s flame attacks or increase its number of heads. Collecting them strengthens your offense, but moving into a crowded area to retrieve one can cost the advantage you already have. The dragon’s size also affects how much room you need between incoming shots. Larger boss encounters require learning where attacks travel and maintaining a position that allows return fire. Success depends on managing both attack layers, preserving upgrades, and recognizing which threats need to be removed first as the next portion of the stage enters view.
