Druaga no Tou is a maze action game for TurboGrafx-16, also known as The Tower of Druaga. You guide the armored hero Gil through a tower filled with monsters, locked exits, and hidden treasures. This version reworks the arcade game’s design with new layouts and additional features, so learning how each floor operates is a major part of the challenge.

Gameplay
Each floor asks you to locate a key and reach the exit while dealing with enemies that move through the maze. Gil fights with a sword and carries a shield, making his facing direction important when danger approaches. Some treasures appear only after particular actions, and the equipment you uncover can affect progress much later in the climb. Clearing a floor therefore involves more than finding the shortest path between its entrance and door. You need to observe enemy behavior, search for useful items, and understand how the maze’s passages connect. The TurboGrafx-16 remake offers four difficulty settings, with differences in features such as visible health, time limits, and the availability of passwords. Those settings change how much assistance you receive while solving the tower.
