Fire Pro Wrestling 2 – 2nd Bout is a TurboGrafx-16 wrestling game that continues the series’ angled-ring presentation and timing-based grappling. You choose a wrestler and compete through individual bouts, tag matches, or larger organized competitions. Its World Champion Series gives matches a championship goal, while the Super Tournament and team elimination formats provide other ways to take on the roster.

Gameplay
The action centers on controlling space, landing strikes, and choosing the right moment to attempt a grapple. Different techniques have different levels of strength, so wearing an opponent down helps prepare for more demanding moves. Approaching another wrestler without a plan can leave you on the receiving end of a throw or hold. Position near the ropes and corners also changes the opportunities available during a bout. Once the opponent is sufficiently weakened, a pin or submission attempt can turn a good sequence into a victory. Outside individual matches, Super Tournament arranges competitors into an elimination bracket, while the five-on-five Elimination Match makes each wrestler part of a larger team effort. These formats keep the same core ring mechanics but change what a single win means for the overall contest and the competitors still waiting.
