Gameplay
Kagekiyo advances by fighting enemies, crossing dangerous terrain, and choosing routes toward his destination. The game alternates between small-character platforming, large-character duels, and overhead sections. Each perspective changes what needs your attention: a jump across a gap, the distance between swordsmen, or the route through an area. In the larger combat scenes, positioning and attack reach become especially important because opponents occupy much more of the screen. The smaller sections give more space to movement and traversal. Collected items support the journey, while tougher encounters test how well you can avoid damage and land attacks at useful moments. Progress is more varied than simply walking right and swinging continuously. Recognizing the demands of the current view helps you switch between movement, navigation, and combat as the journey continues.
