Impossamole is an action platformer for the TurboGrafx-16 starring Monty Mole in a superhero costume. Recruited by aliens, Monty travels in search of sacred scrolls. Gameplay
Run across platforms, climb through the environment, and use Monty’s kicks to handle nearby creatures. Blocks can also be thrown at enemies, adding another way to clear space without stepping directly into danger. Food and other pickups help sustain the journey, while hazards require careful jumps and attention to the next landing. The first four worlds can be approached in a chosen order, and completing them opens the final challenge. These areas include icy terrain, mines, jungle, and an Asian-themed setting. The layouts encourage you to look for a way onward rather than treating every screen as a straight sprint to the right. Combat and traversal often overlap, so landing beside an enemy can be as costly as missing a platform. The overall goal is to collect the scrolls and carry Monty through the full sequence of worlds.
