Gameplay
Move through each stage, clear gaps, and attack animals and other threats before they drain your vitality. The vitality meter also decreases over time, so collecting food is part of staying alive rather than simply building a score. Fruit and larger meals restore energy, while coins can be spent at slot machines for possible rewards. Many objects and empty-looking spots respond to a kick by revealing supplies or other secrets. Each area also requires a hidden key before you can reach its boss, making observation important to forward progress. The detectives gain speed while running, and that momentum changes how you approach a jump or a narrow landing. Your chosen partner has the same basic abilities as the other detective. The challenge combines movement, food collection, and searching for the items needed to continue.
