Gameplay

Study the hole, choose an aiming direction and a suitable club, then set the power and accuracy of the swing. Long shots establish position for the approach, while shorter shots demand more attention to the remaining distance. A strong drive is useful only if its landing leaves a manageable next stroke. Course hazards and the shape of the route make that planning important throughout the round. On the green, the goal changes to judging a putt closely enough to finish without adding unnecessary strokes. The selected-hole format provides a variety of layouts within a single round, requiring you to reconsider the route from one tee to the next. Play proceeds one shot at a time, allowing space to assess the current lie before committing. The score reflects the total number of strokes taken across the holes.
