Gameplay
The immediate task is to reach the destination while keeping KITT clear of obstacles and enemy attacks. Ordinary road traffic limits the available lanes, and hostile vehicles add projectiles to the same space. You need to read the bend of the road while choosing a path through cars and trucks. A gap that looks safe can become dangerous when another vehicle changes the space available ahead. Aircraft also attack during the journey, adding threats beyond those directly on the road. The route leads to confrontations with larger enemies, changing the focus from overtaking traffic to surviving a concentrated fight. Steering accurately helps preserve your condition for those encounters. The television connection is carried by KITT and the mission format, while the main play stays focused on the roadway. Progress comes from balancing forward speed with enough control to dodge, stay on course, and reach the next objective in one piece.
