Lady Sword is a first-person dungeon role-playing game for TurboGrafx-16 from Games Express. You explore the corridors of a tower, encounter monsters, and search for a route to the next floor. Its fantasy adventure is accompanied by adult imagery, making the presentation part of the game’s identity alongside the dungeon exploration.

Gameplay

Navigation takes place through a maze viewed from the hero’s perspective. A corridor may hide a turn, a false wall, or a passage whose purpose becomes clearer after you find an important item. Keeping track of connections matters because the route upward is more involved than simply walking toward a visible exit. Encounters switch to turn-based combat, where commands determine how the hero responds to a monster. Health is a continuing concern, and resting restores it while also carrying the possibility of a dangerous interruption. The tower’s floors use tricks and required discoveries to make exploration part of progression. Finding a route and surviving the enemies along it are connected tasks, since every extra detour can bring another encounter. The main goal is to climb farther into the tower, overcome its guardians, and reach the people and weapon at the center of the quest.
