Gameplay
A strength gauge builds while you wait, and a fuller gauge produces a harder strike. Swinging quickly gives you repeated weaker attacks, while holding back creates the chance for a powerful hit. That trade-off matters when an enemy is approaching and there is only enough time for one good opening. Power-ups increase the axe’s potential, making charged strikes more useful as you advance. Jumping remains just as important as combat, since pits, ledges, and uneven ground interrupt the route. Gogan has a health meter, so a successful fight can still leave a cost that carries into the next encounter. Stages include jungle, cave, and mountain environments, with bosses testing your ability to find room for a full-strength blow. The central rhythm is deliberate: move into position, allow power to build, and swing when the enemy is within reach. Rushing can win a small exchange while leaving you exposed to the next threat.
