Makai Prince Dorabocchan (Japan)

Gameplay

Move across platforms and attack enemies while looking for useful items along the route. Dorabocchan’s abilities can change with the power-ups he collects, including equipment that improves his movement or gives him different ways to handle opponents. Some items make it possible to double jump or attack enemies by landing on them, so your current powers affect how you approach a section. Armor also strengthens the prince for the challenges ahead. When the appropriate helper appears, Moai-like guardians can form bridges with their bodies, opening a path across a gap or toward another area. This makes observation useful alongside ordinary jumping and attacking. Enemy placement asks you to judge when to advance and when to leave room for an attack. The mix of changing equipment and occasional assistance gives the platforming more variety than the prince’s small size might suggest.
