Mr. Heli no Daibouken is a scrolling shoot-em-up for the TurboGrafx-16, originally released on Japan’s PC Engine. You control a small orange helicopter with feet, fighting enemy machines while searching destructible scenery for crystals. Its weapon angles and upgrade economy make movement through each area part of the challenge.

Gameplay
The helicopter can fly around the screen and walk along the ground. Forward shots handle enemies ahead, while upward missiles reach targets overhead. On the ground, bombs replace those missiles, giving you a way to attack low obstacles and enemies. Breaking blocks reveals crystals and equipment, so exploring the scenery can directly improve your firepower. Crystals serve as money for the upgrades you uncover, making their collection useful beyond the score counter. Stronger weapons help clear crowded passages, but reaching a pickup can expose you to incoming fire. Enemy machines approach from different directions, and boss encounters require you to use the available space while keeping attacks on target. The changing relationship between flight, ground movement, and weapon direction gives each stretch a different rhythm. Progress comes from clearing the route, buying useful equipment, and surviving the larger enemies blocking the way.
