Gameplay
The adventure changes its focus as new chapters put different characters under your control. Your active party can contain up to three heroes, and their abilities determine the commands available in combat. Encounters use a turn-based structure, giving you time to choose attacks and other actions before the exchange plays out. Battles cut to animated sequences that show the chosen attacks, making each round visually distinct from the exploration screens. You move through towns and hostile locations from above, gathering information and preparing for the next stretch of the story. Travel between major destinations follows a set route represented by location icons. This keeps the journey focused on the current chapter and its events. Character development and managing the party’s condition remain important as enemies become stronger. The changing cast gives the adventure a different perspective over time, while the shared conflict ties the individual chapters together into one larger quest.
