PC Genjin 3 – Pithecanthropus Computerurus is a side-scrolling platformer for the TurboGrafx-16 platform, known in North America as Bonk 3: Bonk’s Big Adventure. Bonk again uses his head to fight through cartoon environments. This installment adds size-changing candy, making his scale an important part of both movement and combat.

Gameplay
The basic actions include running, jumping, climbing certain surfaces with Bonk’s teeth, and attacking with a headbutt. Aerial spins let him strike downward and influence his descent, connecting movement with offense. Blue candy makes Bonk enormous, while red candy shrinks him to a much smaller form. These changes affect how he fits through the scenery and which parts of a stage he can reach. A passage that calls for a tiny character becomes a different kind of obstacle when Bonk fills much of the screen. Meat still provides combat power-ups, giving you another changing state to manage while advancing. The stage layouts use these transformations to vary the familiar platforming, with enemies and gaps requiring attention at every size. Progress comes from matching Bonk’s current abilities to the route ahead and reaching each stage’s exit.
