Gameplay
The stage scrolls forward while you steer around incoming shots and keep enemies within your firing line. Flashing enemies can drop useful items when destroyed, making particular targets important beyond their score value. Main-gun upgrades improve your basic attack, while secondary weapons offer different patterns and ways to reach awkwardly placed enemies. Available equipment includes homing missiles and attacks directed toward the ground. Choosing when to pursue a pickup means judging both its usefulness and the danger of crossing the screen to reach it. The jet also has a shield gauge, and energy items can restore protection. This gives the condition of your aircraft a visible role throughout the stage. Moving safely through narrow spaces while keeping enough fire on the next threat forms the main challenge, especially as larger enemies take up more of the route ahead.
