Power League IV is a baseball game for the TurboGrafx-16 platform, released by Hudson Soft in Japan for PC Engine. This fourth installment broadens the series with additional stadiums, night games, and support for up to four players on the original hardware. It retains the familiar combination of batting, pitching, and fielding.

Gameplay
Your team alternates between trying to score and trying to end the opponent’s inning. A swing needs to meet the incoming pitch at the right time, while a hit into open space gives runners a chance to advance. On defense, pitching sets up the play and fielding determines how quickly you can turn contact into an out. The game includes automatic fielding and baserunning options, which change how much of that follow-up action you handle yourself. Exhibition-style games offer a single matchup, and pennant play carries results across a longer schedule. A home-run contest isolates the batting challenge, while Watch mode lets computer teams play out a game. The added park settings change the surroundings, but winning still depends on combining useful hits with reliable defensive decisions across the innings.
