Gameplay
The pitcher-batter exchange uses a view from behind the hitter. At bat, you adjust your position and swing to meet the pitch, aiming to put runners on base and bring them home. After contact, the view switches overhead so you can follow the ball and the developing play. Advancing a runner involves weighing the distance to the next base against the defense’s chance to make a throw. On defense, the objective changes to getting three outs before too many runs score. Pitching and fielding work together: a hittable ball still gives your fielders a chance to retire the batter. The game includes play against the computer, a two-player option, and a mode for watching computer teams compete. Passwords support progress between matches. Across these options, success comes from turning hits into runs and keeping defensive mistakes from extending an inning.
