Puzzle Boy is a room-based logic puzzle game for the TurboGrafx-16. You guide a small character through compact layouts, moving blocks and rotating obstacles to open a route to the exit. Each room turns a simple destination into a spatial problem, with the arrangement of objects determining what moves remain possible.

Gameplay

The challenge is to change the room without trapping yourself or blocking the path you still need. Pushing a block may clear one corridor while closing another. Rotating a barrier changes which neighboring spaces you can reach, so its final orientation matters as much as the first opening it creates. You have to consider where the character can stand before and after each movement. Reaching the exit usually requires a sequence of changes rather than one obvious push. Looking at the whole layout helps connect those separate actions into a workable route. The game also offers timed and competitive play alongside its standard puzzles, giving the same movement ideas different pacing. Its appeal comes from understanding the relationship between your character, the movable pieces, and the remaining floor space. A successful solution leaves a continuous path all the way to the destination.
