Silent Debuggers is a science fiction first-person shooter for the TurboGrafx-16. You explore a space station overrun by hostile creatures, clearing its floors while trying to prevent its destruction. The view places you inside the corridors, with instruments surrounding the action and a partner supplying information. Finding enemies is part of the challenge: nearby threats register through sound cues and colored warnings before they come into view.

Gameplay
Movement and turning take you through connected rooms and passages. You must locate the remaining creatures on each floor and line up shots when they approach. The sound detection system gives the search a distinct rhythm, since watching the center of the screen alone leaves out useful information. Stereo audio helps indicate which side a threat is approaching from. Weapons and energy need attention alongside the enemy count, and returning to recharge can interrupt a hunt. A station-wide countdown adds pressure to the exploration, making repeated detours costly. The combination of navigation, resource use, and close encounters rewards learning the layout as much as reacting to an alien directly ahead.
