Soldier Blade Special – Caravan Stage is a TurboGrafx-16 and PC Engine shoot ’em up focused on timed score competition. It adapts Soldier Blade’s vertical shooting for the Caravan tournament format, giving players a short battlefield designed around repeated attempts. Your goal is to convert enemy waves and targets into points before the session ends. A successful run depends on how much you destroy within the available time.

Gameplay
The stage scrolls upward while you move the fighter around the screen and fire into incoming formations. Targets arrive in a fixed sequence, so familiarity changes the way a run feels: an unexpected attack can become a chance to position for the next group. Clearing enemies promptly keeps attention on the next scoring opportunity, while unnecessary movement can pull your shots away from valuable targets. The two-minute and five-minute challenges give the same basic controls different time horizons. Short attempts make it practical to compare routes, track where points are lost, and try again with a more deliberate approach. The central task is both survival and efficiency, since reaching the end of the clock with fewer destroyed targets leaves room to improve.
