Soukoban World is a box-pushing puzzle game for the TurboGrafx-16 and PC Engine. Each room gives a warehouse worker a set of crates and marked destinations, with walls shaping the available paths. The task is to place every crate correctly by moving through the space around it. Different visual settings frame the puzzles, but the challenge comes from the arrangement of boxes, targets, and narrow passages.

Gameplay
You move one space at a time and push a crate by walking into it from the opposite side. Boxes cannot be pulled, which makes some moves effectively permanent. A crate against the wrong wall can become impossible to recover, and a box pushed into a corner may block the whole solution. Reaching a destination is only part of the problem: you also need enough room to get behind the remaining crates. Corridors and shared paths make the order of your moves important. A useful position for one box can become an obstacle when another must pass through the same area. Every room is therefore a small planning exercise, asking you to consider where both the worker and each crate will need to stand later.
