Gameplay
You move toward the end of each area while dealing with enemies, gaps, and obstacles placed along the route. Thrown weapons let you attack from a distance, but their paths and the terrain affect when a shot will connect. Collectible food replenishes a vitality meter that steadily drains, so the game adds an ongoing need to move forward to its jumping challenges. Eggs contain useful items, including weapons and skateboards. A skateboard changes the rhythm by carrying you forward quickly, making upcoming jumps and hazards demand earlier decisions. Boss encounters interrupt the platforming with fights built around recognizing attacks and finding openings to throw your weapon. Finishing an area therefore involves more than reaching the far edge: you also need enough vitality and control to survive what comes next. The result is a platformer that connects its food collection directly to the pace of each run.
