Gameplay
Move around the terrain, line up attacks, and use jumps to negotiate breaks in the path. Enemies can approach from several directions, so your position and facing both matter. Defeated opponents leave money that can help pay for useful supplies and improvements. Characters encountered along the way offer information or sell items, including weapons and magic. That gives you a reason to pay attention to the surroundings as well as the route forward. The game mixes stretches of combat with movement challenges, asking you to judge a safe landing while keeping track of nearby enemies. New equipment changes your options, but health remains a concern throughout the trip. The overhead view makes the full area around your character visible, helping you spot paths and threats together. Advancing requires a combination of accurate fighting, careful movement, and making use of the resources you collect.
