Wallaby!! – Usagi no Kuni no Kangaroo Race is a racing and betting simulation for the TurboGrafx-16. Its animal world replaces the usual horse-racing setting with wallaby races and rabbit characters. Your main involvement comes from choosing wagers and handling decisions around the races, while the competitors run their courses on screen.

Gameplay
The central challenge is deciding which racers to support and how much of your available money to risk. A successful prediction can improve your balance, while a losing bet reduces what you have for later decisions. Race viewing lets you follow the competitors and see how the result develops after your choices are set. The races themselves run automatically, so preparation and prediction carry more weight than steering or accelerating. The game also includes management elements connected to the racers, broadening the activity beyond placing a single wager. Its turn-based structure separates menu decisions from the spectacle of the race, giving the session a slower pace than an action racer. The rabbits, wallabies, and other animal characters provide the setting for that cycle of choosing, watching, and reviewing results. Following the Japanese menus is useful for understanding the available wagers and the information presented before each race.
