Gameplay

Guide Fray through vertically oriented areas while firing at enemies and moving out of the path of their attacks. Although the setting uses magic and monsters, the immediate task is closer to a shooter than a traditional menu-based role-playing game. You control your position directly and attack in real time. Watch the space ahead of Fray as well as enemies approaching from the sides, since lining up a shot and avoiding contact compete for your attention. Progress depends on surviving the action and defeating the opponents blocking your route. Its overhead viewpoint keeps movement and shooting central to the experience.
